Evan Guilford-Blake

Robert Grahame is a PI in 1947 Los Angles and this story begins after the murder of gangster Bugsy Siegel. He takes on a case to finder the missing brother of his client, Lizabeth Duryea, but things get complicated, people get killed and Grahame needs to find the truth before he is killed himself or worse, charged with Siegel’s murder.

I enjoyed the noir feeling of the novel and the storyline. It takes me back to tose old detective novels of those times. The story kept me interested until the finale, but then again I guess that’s why it is Noir(ish). A light ready that kept me entertained.… (more)
