This was pretty cute though extremely fast-paced. The focus on communication and the simple first love is the highlight.

I’m not sure if I’d read another volume of this because there isn’t really a plot to motivate me to keep reading. Yagyu’s friend Tenma is a total HATER, but he was entertaining amongst the less memorable characters. He is definitely going to play a role in this later on. my prediction: $5 he's Satomi's first crush and she doesn't remember her so he's in his feeling. this boy will be a part of the love triangle somehow lol

With nothing better to do in this super generic teen romance, the creator starts working their way through all the shojo tropes: cultural festival, cosplay, jealousy, birthday, amusement park, part-time jobs, Christmas, and of course a romantic rival.

The writing and art are fine on a page-by-page basis, but there is just nothing here that is special or new or unique. It's too bland and vanilla for me, so I'll be stopping here.

To avoid being the absolute blandest shojo manga ever, some obstacles are introduced this time around in the forms of an ex and a family member. But they are the most minor of speed bumps in a series that seems like it could conclude anytime by simply writing "The End" after any given chapter yet somehow has seven more volumes after this.

I have one more from the library, but unless a time traveling dragon clone shows up in it, I do believe it will be the last one for me.

The hook is there is no hook?

This is a cute enough little high school romance, but I spent the whole time waiting for the romantic interest to reveal some secret: he's a vampire, he has an evil twin, he's been hired to trick the girl and steal away her inheritance/crown/virginity, etc.

But it's just a couple teenagers meeting awkward and reasonably progressing into a relationship.

Does that still happen?
