I expected another thing. Nothing new here, excepting the stuff about Dejana that doesn't seem to contribute anything to the main story. Dedicating a whole book to a different point of view for events already told in the previous instance, did nothing but disappoint me a little. The story between Jack and Ethan is still exciting, and the plot of the case in this book is good, but as I have been saying in more than one review, resorting to the crazy villain to explain a case is something that has me tired enough; and, in this series, is particularly disappointing.

Please, I'm not saying that the book isn't worth the read, at all; because it is. Even more, I intend to read the third book as soon as it is released.

The best is the final, predictable but adorable.

The rhythm is irregular; at times, I had the urge to skim, although I managed to contain it. A more frugal prose would have helped.

The handler and his change of heart constitute a weak point in the plot. Either the choice of such a person as a handler is a structural error, or his change of heart is implausible.
