Everything in it has that inimitable 1980s fit and the hairstyles are pretty remarkable. For a knitter who really likes intarsia and is willing to do some work adapting graphs to more up to date patterns, or who wants to dress up as a World Wildlife Fund fanatic circa 1980, this would be a very useful book.
Fun and funky wire and yarn crochet projects. Different styles of crochet wire earrings are included. Some projects using yarn and beads were for anklets, bracelets and necklaces -great for those allergic to metals.
Well written for beginners, of which I am. I found lots of info I've looked for as a beginner and was overlooked in many other books and sites. Written well so it is interesting and factual. The patterns of of many different styles so there should be something to interest beginners. I am anxious to start a few patterns, all of which are written so you can personalize to your style.
Not a book I would think for the experience crochet beader, but I love that the basics are covered so well I feel very confident that I can make any of the patterns and buy the materials needed with a ready list in hand to choose the beads and colors I want.
