Alfred M. Hitchcock

I have reviewed several dozen books on instruction in the English language and this is by far one of the very best. The section on grammar in the back is outstanding. Oddly enough I have also just read a book on improving memory which recommends visualizing and the chapter "Picturing" intended for writing descriptions is also a way to enhance just looking at the world around us.
