Found this book by accident, browsing books for sale at Flying J truck stop many years ago. Almost did not buy it. Upon reading it, I started recognizing names, not knowing why. Finally decided to search my ancestry files and found John Lathrop, among others. During my family research I did not know that John was a pastor. John Lathrop is my 11th great granddad. The relationship made this reading even better and harder too. The punishment for anyone back then was very harsh, something most governments now would never allow. I do NOT go along with the author on the importance of one descendant of John Lathrop, Joseph Smith, but I am not part of that church either.
