This story starts off with a little boy explaining how his parents demands of his attention immediately while when he wants their attention, they always are too busy. He then continues to name all of his different family members, and how they always brush him off of their shoulder or are mean to him. One day, he wakes up feeling very sick and his entire family never leaves his side. They stay with him to make sure he is ok and gets everything he needs. Even I can testify that my family may not always pay attention to me 24/7, but that doesn't mean that they don't love me. This book shows the true meaning of family and how a family comes together when they need to most.

A young boy discovers families may be difficult to deal with sometimes but they are always there for you no matter what. I think this book is humorus, but I just did not really like it. I think all families are different, and these behaviors may be true in some families but not all.
