Gave up.

Unattractive concept - the Murphy brothers seem so far (a third of the way through the book) to be only interested in being assassins for hire. They are approached by a new client who’s granddaughter has been missing for 2 weeks, not to find the woman and rescue her, but to kill the man who is thought to have taken her.

The book includes a number of unlikely conversations and inner ruminations that included the wonderful statement that working with computers required a surprising amount of maths (!). Actually, no it doesn’t.

Add to the above a plethora of f-bombs ... like I said, I gave up.

Enjoyable read

A great finale to what has been a very enjoyable series, Lawless the 3rd book in this trilogy kept me riveted from start to finish, you can feel the emotion between Nico and Angel it jumps off the page. Will defo be reading more from this author in the future.

Fearless the second book in the mob boss series was if its even possible better than the first, I fell in love with Nico more, his ability to treat his Angel like she'd hung the moon and go above and beyond for her so beautiful, Angel I'm glad she's realised that the things we do for knows we love know no bounds , now the ending I'm hoping to god is not quite as it seems as if it is I'm gutted, that's all I'm going to say as I don't want to spoil it for anyone else, I'm very eager for the next installment now can't wait.

Loved this story was a surprisingly heartfelt read Nico had a protectiveness And sense of morality to him that compelled him to keep his Angel safe despite the circumstances of her stay with him, Angel herself was a naive and trusting soul really hope they can work it all out, I did think Angel should have been more angry towards her Father and more Forgiving of Nico actions in the end, also was some great secondary characters, looking forward to the next installment.

Not the ending that I wanted but I'm looking forward to book 2.

I could not put this book down. I was looking for a bad boy read and this book caught my attention. Ms. St. James did not disappoint. Farrell is the kind of man who can scare you and give you shivers at the same time. I loved the intense connection between Jenna and Farrell; their heat set my Kindle on fire! Well done.
