No feels at all. There was a lot of telling and no showing. I think this is the flatest book I have ever read.

Listened to audio narrated by well Chris Chambers and Elizabeth Hart.

Nick is thirty-seven, a single dad, with two kids, whose wife died seven years ago. When Nick goes back out in the dating world his reputation of having an extremely large package spreads like wildfire through the town. When he finds Ana watching him through her window he can't help having fantasies about her.

Anna is the girl next door, twenty-two and going to school for architect design. Her father and Nick have been friends for a long time. Anna's been attracted to Nick forever but when she hears the rumors about his size, she decides to verify things for herself, one thing leads to another and these two end up falling into bed together.

This book is campy, silly, and full of sexual innuendos and corny play on words that could be taken sexually. If these things appeal to you, it's a quick, light hearted read that doesn't take it self seriously. It tried once or twice but reverts back to silliness pretty quickly.

I never really felt this couple had more than fun times in bed and, with the rest of the book being very campy, the drama introduced felt out of place. For a moment Anna comes across as mature then she and her friends will run through dialogue sounding like horny teenagers rather than adults. Unfortunately, campy and silly without relationship depth is not the kind of book I like to read and my rating reflects that.

ARC received for an honest review.
This was a good, quick read. I liked the relationship between Nick and Anna but it was a bit quick. I would have loved a bit more insight in to all of the characters personalities.

The "ick" factor of the first 35 mins of this audiobook was more than I could stand. This book is not a positive statement for women in the work place today. Couldn't... Didn't... finish. :(

Charlotte would do anything to catch her big break, even apply to work for Jaxson Murphy, the man assumed to have killed his girlfriend. She knows his past and she's willing to bet there's a story waiting to be told. Being one of his girls may not be her ideal job, but as she gets to know the real Jaxson she's not sure the story is worth losing what they could have.
Jaxson knows there's more to Charlotte than meets the eye and he's willing to bet her can get her to help him with his dirty work. When Charlotte plays his game just as well as he does, he finds that he may want to put revenge aside for something more, something he thought didn't exist anymore.

"Thanks for the advice, but I'll pass on the guys for the moment," I say dryly. "That's fine." She grins. "I'm sure there are plenty of fuckable chicks here too."

Within the first few chapters, I was hooked to the unique plot Missy Johnson offered with Resist. A handsome, wealthy, enigmatic man searching for a woman to be whatever he needs her to be. Charlotte was a feisty character, driven to apply for the position to further her career. I never expected for the job to be what it was, but I loved the dialogue and emotions it brought out between Jaxson and Charlotte. While I loved the push and pull between Jax and Char, I found myself desperate to know more about Jaxson's childhood, his missing girlfriend, and the revenge he was so desperate to see through.

She had a spark, and I can't wait to find out what she's capable of -and what she's capable of putting up with.

While the concept of Resist was unique, there were plot holes and continuity issues I just couldn't ignore. From the sex scenes to the suspenseful story line, several scenes didn't connect with the next and left me a bit confused. At one point Charlotte seemed to have a bit of distaste for her mother and later hated her, with no explanation for the change. I wish Jaxson's girls would have had a lot more detail behind them, because in the end it felt like such a minor detail that I didn't understand why anyone cared or why Jaxson really needed them. Jaxson felt like he was missing something, at times he seemed like an empty shell and other times full of feelings. I couldn't get a true hold on who he was as a character, which made it difficult for me to get behind Charlotte's feelings. While I enjoyed Resist, I felt like the last several chapters, and the closure of Jaxon's past, were rushed through. I also could have gone for a very different epilogue, but that's just me!

She groans, her back arching against my touch. She's practically riding my hand as I pleasure her.

Resist is a dark novel that is a lot sexy, very kinky, and has a hint of suspense and mystery mixed in.

Great premise to the story. I really enjoyed parts of it and then other parts felt rushed.I wanted more of the story fleshed out.

Still, the story made me chuckle. I loved Mack. He needs a story in a few years.

This was my Missy Johnson book; I can tell you will not be my last either. This book isfull of love, angst, suspense, redemption; her writing is amazing and this book held my attention all the way through. I really enjoyed it immensely, finding it difficult to put down.

I loved Hannah and Declan, their relationship, the problems were so unique and very well thought out and developed, nothing seemed contrived just to create issues. The chemistry between the two of them was great, very believable and it helps you connect to them. The characters as well as the plot were something different from your boy meets girl, and it was so interesting to see how it all played out. The secondary characters played a significant part in the book also and were well developed. This story is told in alternating views.

Received an ARC at no cost to author..This book was funny. This is a forbidden romance, since she has a crush on her father's best friend. Anna keeps hearing about Nick's anaconda and she wants to know if the rumors are true. She watches him thru her window, but as they begin a friendship it turns into more. But what happens? Can't tell you you need to read. Enjoy!

Tease is book 1 of a new series. It's written from the POV of Liam Cooper, a male escort to the rich and famous.

Coop's history- Married at 18 and divorced at 20, after finding his wife in bed with his best friend, medical student Liam Cooper finds himself being passed between his college professor and her friends eventually leading to him dropping out of college to become a full time escort to support his mother and pay her hefty medical bills.

Eight years later, Coop is living it up fulfilling the sexual fantasies of the top actresses, singers, starlets, business owners and government officials. He gives them whatever they want behind closed doors while they appear sweet and wholesome to the public. He has all the money and sex he could ever want. It's a win/win all around.

That is until his first love Mia, who moved away when he was 15, moves back into town. They begin to see more and more of each other.

What will the future hold for everyone involved?

Tease is very hot and steamy. My favorite scenes were with Ben, Brittany and Coop, yum.
Enjoy.

Always You seemed like it was going to be just another light read about the whole teacher/student love affair, but it wasn't. It surprisingly got pretty deep. Dalton and Wrenn both have some painful issues that they have been though and are going through. The storyline was much more serious than I had expected from the synopsis. And I think this is a good thing. This book discussed some emotional topics. One was very original. I do not remember reading a book where one of the characters had to deal with this particular problem. The way the story went wasn't fairytale but instead more realistic which was great in my opinion. Everything can't always go perfect all the time in real life. Yes, it did have the great true life bits that I enjoyed, and it also has the silly and the sexy.

Made my heart skip? What was I, a twelve-year-old girl?

And Kass the lesbian best friend is a trip.

Running your tongue along the opening of a vagina is one of the most erotic things I can think of...god I can't even explain. It's really something you need to try to understand.

So this books has some great topics, sexy, funny, sad, loving and realistic. And it's a quick read.

Also I just wanted to say (not about this book) look at Missy's upcoming book Provoke. Everyone knows how I am about the fighters. And it looks like it's gonna be a great one!

I have enjoyed reading books from both of these authors so I was really looking forward to this book. Sadly, it did not work for me at all. I felt no character in the book had redeeming qualities, and the plot was not believable to me. Most people seem to love it; thus, it's probably just me so don't be discourage because of my experience.

I will say that it is very sexy and angsty. If you're looking for that type of read, it may be perfect for you. Contains cheating, suicide, conspiracy, revenge, scandals, cover ups and über sexual tension.

If you've ever read any of Missy's books, you know that she tends to put an unusual twist in her stories. The whole plot isn't unheard of, but the web workings inside have a unique spin. This story is no exception. It's definitely different. I didn't really understand the reasoning behind why some of the characters did the things that they did, but watching their follies from the sidelines was interesting. I feel that it had the potential to be an exceptional read if some parts would have been tweaked and expounded upon. The emotions and conclusions seemed rushed in my opinion so the reader doesn't feel what the characters feel. Besides that it was quite entertaining.

Leeta is an attorney, a prosecutor for the Director of Public Prosecutions, and the daughter of a decorated army officer, a Colonel. Mace is the son of a notorious gangland killer who is the head of the infamous Jordan family. Both his father and brother are in prison, and he presumably is nothing but a motorcycle repair shop owner. His family is so bad that she wrote a paper about his great grandfather for her Criminal Law class at university. Somehow, someway, these two end up a couple (and the story hasn't even gotten to the crazy part yet). Btw, he isn't her most outrageous hook up.

-What was it with me that attracted these guys?-

The two of them end up intertwined in the biggest fiasco to end all fiascos. I cannot say that I understand anyone's position, but it was a fresh experience having no idea what was going to happen next, who's going to do what and when.

This book is to be book 1 of a series. I'm not sure what the next will be about, but several characters were introduced besides the 2 main, and the mystery that pulled the characters in the story has not been solved.

People have been telling me for a long time now to read a Missy Johnson book and I'm sorry I should have listened to them sooner. This was so good. The writing and the story flowed so easily I never wanted it to end. But it did and now I have ti wait for the next one, which by the way I will be reading. Must find out what happens next.

Started this story not knowing much about it and maybe that's the best part of all. I like going into books blind; more enjoyable that way.

Ryder is such a bad boy in every way. He started off a little cocky for me and I didn't think that he would grow on me. I was afraid I would have to put the book down. But I keep going. I thought he was going to end up with a certain chick, then bam - nope I was so wrong. So didn't see that happening. He meets a chick just by reading a fan mail letter from an angry fan. Hehehe thought that I was quite clever there really.

As the book progressed I began to like Ryder more and more. Then the end of the novel due near and I totally fell in love with him, only to feel sorry for him. I can't believe that happened and then nothing. I felt for him and now I need more of this mans story.
