About the Author
This is the author, Franklyn E. Dailey, Jr., just after he reported to a North Atlantic destroyer in World War II. After 15 years of service, during which he earned a Master's Degree in Applied Physics and Navy wings, he resigned his commisson to accept a position as technology manager for computer show more peripherals. He continued flying as a "weekend warrior", commanding a squadron in the Naval Air Reserve. He advanced to Captain, USNR and concluded his industry service as Vice President for Research and Development. He became a consultant and wrote reports for a technology publisher. He has had a number of non-technical print pieces published; this is his first full-length book. show less
