This thesis explores the reason why and how Australian Rules Football consumers adopted interactive digital television (iTV). Specifically, the research endeavoured to better understand what variables affect the early adoption of iTV and what their impact is on the adoption. In total 16 interviews were conducted and findings indicated that AFL consumers perceive iTV as a bonus feature to their pay-TV subscription.
