Excellent images of Poseidon, the Four Winds, Athena, Monsters...Exercise extreme caution and preview excerpts before showing!
Actually a pretty faithful retelling of Homer's story, with modern language and sensibilities, of course. Odysseus and Penelope give a very convincing love story of married romance. Lots of blood and gore, but more of the fantasy variety than the urban-streets kind. Coppola has chosen to do the blood-and-dirt authentic re-enactment thing, which is very effective but then the Greek pantheon seems very out of place.
