This beautifully illustrated essay details a man’s simple wishes for making daily life better for himself and those who surround him. The young man went on to become the Pope and was eventually canonized for his many humanitarian efforts. Introduction, Author’s Note.

Large format picture book. Just for today, I will try to live for this day alone, without wishing to solve my life's problems all at once.
