I really enjoyed this book. I liked that we got to find out the story of Molly Dekker and her son Josh who were the recipients of the money raised in the bachelor auction. Although it starts off on an amusing note as Molly had decided to go into the woods to get what she wants for herself, it quickly evolves into a more dramatic story with depth. We learn the details of the accident that has disabled Josh and in the process, also the demons that haunt Gabriel. I loved Molly's strength of character throughout this book. She knows what she wants from life and is willing to fight for it.

Finally, after reading about Nancy in many of the other recent Montana Born Brides books, we get to read her story. The glimpses we got of Nancy in the other books in the series hinted at a spoiled bridezilla. In this book, we learn who she really is and how her past has shaped who she is today, and discover appearances can often be deceiving. Wyatt truly loves her, so much that he's willing to let her go if marrying Jared is truly what will make her happy. Loved the runaway bride scene - often this is done at the beginning of the story to set the stage for the romance between the two main characters, but in this case, it worked well to do it in the middle. I think, after reading the preceding novellas in the series, we needed to find out more about her relationship with Jared and the lead up to why she's running away for the rest of the story to work. Great read and I'll be looking for more from Kat Latham.

I'm a Kat Latham fan - at least I was - and this one was far less for me at this moment than I had anticipated
[ Just too much trauma for what I was looking for, at times even in place of angst.

I haven't read any other books in the series for starters. I found this book on Wattpad and I totally fall in love with it. John was just such a perfectly made character and Gwen was someone I could relate to, although I'm only 5 feet 4 inches :) But this was a book that made me emotional and to me that is what a perfect book is. It also made me interested to read all the other books in the series. I think that everybody who reads this review, should go to Wattpad and read this book because it's completely free and it is such a beautiful book.… (more)
