The pirates fight and argue about everything. While they sleep, the wise pirate takes the ship and finds them a safe new home with fruit and animals on it. When they wake up, they seem happy but are they?

This was a fun rhyming book with six pirates each of whom has a personality. None of them wants to follow. They all want to lead. Too many captains, not enough pirates, if you ask me.

Your child will enjoy the pictures and the rhymes.

In a Magic Tree House meets Dragon Tales kind of way, Sally and Sam are off on another adventure with their magic feather. Sadly, Sally has accidentally wished that Sam is not her brother and has been transported to a magic kingdom where he is the king and an only child. She must make her way through the kingdom solving riddles to find a way to get him back. She meets good friends along the way and teaches them, along with the reader, the importance of sharing. As always lovely, energetic artwork keeps the story moving and fun witty prose will keep kids aged preschool and up fully engaged, though the riddles will most likely be beyond the youngest kids to get on their own.

Jasper is a clown fish who will do anything for fun, even take the dare of stealing a shark tooth right from its own mouth. When Jasper gets in over his head, help comes from an unexpected place. The book’s artwork captures the fun of the story, told in rhyme, as well as the color of a coral reef. Along the way, Jasper and little ones will learn a thing or two about ocean creatures and a life lesson or two. This is a perfect anytime story for little ones and early readers.

A magic feather that takes a set of twins on an adventure to save Christmas, A child who can’t sleep on Christmas Eve, Five special Christmas wishes, and A mouse who saves Christmas on the farm. What do these all have in common? They are some of the delightful stories in this collection. Fun, colorful illustrations bring these short stories to life. They are perfect for story time, nap time or bedtime and would be great practice for early readers. Wrapped up in Christmas fun, each story offers a kernel of life lesson, told in a fun imaginative way.

I normally easily give this author's books five stars because they are delightful, however, there are some spelling errors and that I think might be confusing to young readers.
