Now a book of pleasant memories, this was essentially a guidebook to restaurants and wineries in Sonoma, Napa, and Mendocino counties in the early 1970s, with a little bit of history thrown in to round out the book.

Most of the restaurants no longer exist, although a few hardy ones keep plugging away. Negri's and the Union Hotel are still there in Occidental, CA with the same menus!
