About the Author

Dwight Lyman Moody was born in Northfield, Massachusetts on February 5, 1837. In 1858, Moody started a Sunday school in a converted saloon, and six years later became pastor of the newly opened Illinois Street Church in Chicago. In 1886, Moody was involved in the founding of the Chicago show more Evangelization Society, which was eventually renamed the Moody Bible Institute. He died on December 22, 1899, but before he did he preached to more than 100 million people. His legacy lives on in the Moody Bible Institute and the Moody Memorial Church. In this short impactful tome, the great evangelist Dwight L. Moody shares great principles from God's Word along with his many experiences in his own Christian life. The author shares many wonderful words of wisdom in different aspects of living the life that Christ desires us to live. Highly recommend.

The Way to God takes an honest look at our need to repent and follow Jesus, and gives hope for unending, joyous eternity in heaven. Dwight L. Moody, determined to make a fortune, arrived in Chicago and started selling shoes. But Christ found him and his energies were redirected into full-time ministry.
