Excellent photographs inside and out. A great book to think about the outdoors in a quiet place.

(77) As with Mulfinger's previous books, this is a visual feast celebrating cabins across budgets, regions, and needs. The focus is primarily on the architectural stories of the cabins: why people built, how they built, and footprints. Recommended.

Back to the Cabin, by Dale Mulfinger, is a beautiful book with wonderful photos of various types of cabins. The layout is nice, and it shows the outside of each cabin, the inside, and then a small floor design photo. My only complaint, and it's such a tiny complaint, is that I wish the floor design photos were on the same page as the outside of the cabin. I think this would give a better idea to see where rooms in the house really are.

Eye candy that is, as claimed, "inspiration" for having a cabin some day. If this book doesn't leave you wishing you had a remote retreat to which you can escape, something is wrong.
