Charming! Super cute illustrations. Cavorting animals and critters. Flaps to lift with surprises underneath of critters and also some more text.

Text of "story" is repetitive and simple. A nice twist is that the count is down 5 to 1 rather than usual up-count 1 to 5. Little ones will totally enjoy this cute book. I simply love the sweet rhyming verse.

A very charming picture book about Monet's ceramic cat coming to life, and Monet having to chase the cat through some of his famous paintings as he tries to keep the cat from causing mischief and mayhem. Becky Cameron's art is playful and mimics Monet's style quite wonderfully.
