Saw this on the library "new" shelf and checked it out on a whim. My grandfather used to whittle on the front porch and it brought up good memories. Now, I have a fresh pine log in the back of my car and plans to make some spoons. None of this makes any sense, but there it is. The book provides clear instructions for the projects and valuable information about the tools and wood types. It is short and concise, but it gives you plenty to branch out and explore the topic further on your own.
