This Island Earth by Joseph M. Newman
Hit and miss SF based on a perfectly respectable short story. There are enough good parts to justify watching, and the final approach to the alien planet is so much better than the rest of the movie it seems to have been made by somebody else.

Substance: Story of the legendary trotting horse Dan Patch, through the lives of his owners. Not overly subtle, especially in the "love triangle" between the owner's son and his wife and Dan's trainer's daughter - but clean! Nice footage of trotters and their buggies. Think "Music Man".
