It took a bit longer to get into this book compared to "Love on the range", but once I got into it, I enjoyed it. People make assumptions about who they are and what happened without asking for clarification, and this story was an ideal example of this.

Lauren and Matt had a history but never sorted out their problems. This clouded their interactions until the issue was brought out into the open and dealt with. Working through the proposed changes to the town and resort while trying to solve problems, brought Lauren back to God and she relearnt to let go and let God be in control.

A beautiful story and I look forward to more tales from Looking Glass Lake.
