Jill buys the book and resells it for a nice profit but the jittery man comes back and wants his book back. When she tells him she resold it, he returns with a man who tries to intimidate her.
The remainder of the story shows Jill trying to find the man who bought the book and dealing with a number of unscrupulous and amusing characters.
Jill lives life to the fullest and always has a clever quip for whatever situation she finds herself in.
