I've made three quilts from this book and incorporated the author/designer's technique in several other pieces. Each block includes folded pieces of fabric that are sewn so a layered/folded edge can be pulled/folded back on itself creating a curve and further exposing the foundation fabric. The result is curves without frustration and a natural and obvious pattern for quilting the pieced project. The publisher description explains this more clearly, but I love both the technique and the results. Each quilt includes a full page color photograph and detailed, illustrated step-by-step instructions for each step--from piecing the first sections through binding the quilt sandwich.… (more)
