Southdown PD3 by J. Osborne

Apparently the Southdown PD3s of which there were 285 were nicknamed the Queen Marys, I loved those green and cream Southdown buses that went past the top of our road en route for Brighton or Southsea. This is a pretty detailed history. I don't recall the `distinctive clattering rattle of the centrifugal clutch when idling at stops'.
