The Story:
This was an okay read. It was interesting in the way that I like seeing how people in my age group (ish) experienced the same world I was observing usually from a wildly different perspective at the same time. And though Mr Peck is open about his career, mental health and weight struggles, I feel like he still kept a lot of personal information close to the vest. He didn’t even share how he met his wife, even though he does rave about her in a more general way. I suppose he made that choice to protect her privacy and the privacy of others but it also leaves the memoir feeling hollow to me.

This book was great. The author reads the book to you and I love his humor throughout. I couldn't stop listening. His insight into himself and his own issues is great. I love that he only glazed over Drake Bell's personal issues and only stated one sentence about the whole thing. I am sure he is tired of being asked about it.
