A good starting point for teaching children about gender, but there is very little text for the children - most of it is for the adults (who probably already know it if they're buying this book). I do think it's a little odd that it seems to explain gender as something you choose from day-to-day. The wheel is nice for small people, and nearly every child can find themselves represented in the illustrations.
