Not bad. Some of the prose that accompanies the illustrations is quite wordy and I think you might lose a struggling student. The story itself is engaging enough to keep a moderate reader reading .

The graphic enthusiast will be entertained by the layout of a graphic novel together with the biography of Amelia Earhart. This is a good example of a biography, which is based on Amelia's early years through her disappearance. Most reluctant readers like graphic novels, because of the pictures; therefore, they might enjoy reading this biography. This book would be good for the elementary level or middle school.
Media: pencil and water color
