The short story format didn't really work with this one, I think. It was too short to really build up the backstory and develop the characters. It seems like it just went from "each secretly hot for the other when younger" to "going on a date" with a little bit of insecurity thrown in. I liked the themes but it needed more development, I think. (2.5 stars)

For some reason, this didn't grab me. I loved the insecure, chubby heroine and hated her sister, but the hero was a little too one-dimensional he-man player-y for my tastes.(2.5 stars)
