Some good simple advice. I have started implementing some of the suggestions.
Has helped me so much with my shorter form writing projects!
Such a great resource, very well organized, lots of checklists. And as someone who edits for busy readers, ot is reassuring to know that I am broadly speaking on the right track and that it’s hard to maintain this consistently. The notes section is extensive. I want my own copy!
This is one of the best writing guides I have ever read, and I have read a lot. Its focus is very heavily on the reader. After all, why do we write -- to communicate with the reader, of course. It is heavily slanted to electronic communications; emails, texts, even social media. And it is very, very clear. Can't recommend it too highly to those write on a regular basis.
