I love the- 2/6 - in pencil / half-crown - ......especially when I connect it with Salt's quote.
~ The prospect, you see, was a very pleasant one; I should, for once, be able to play the part of a generous author, and make free with a half-crown book. ~
With - PRICE SIXPENCE - crudely crossed out at the bottom of the front cover!
