What a lovely man, what a great life story (maybe not great literature but wonderful all the same). The boy who was to be sent to a school that valued nature and who refused to be dominated by his hero father's shadow became a less well known but more influential man - wildlife artist, war hero, champion sailor and glider but more importantly founder of the WWF and one of the first modern conservationists/environmentalists. A story that deserves to be better known and an inspiration to those of us who love birds and boats.… (more)
