Despite some moments of humor, derived from a conscious scripting of Wayne's advanced age, the story is trite, acting is hackneyed, action is slow, and plot holes are huge.
The scenery looks painted, and the characters are cliché.
So, basically your average Western B-movie.
But Wayne is still fun to watch.
