There’s no doubt the writer is skilled, I just wish there was more to the book and its characters than sex. I’m not a prude, but it was just one sex scene after another, to the point where I skimmed through them. Sex appeared to be the only real connection between the characters. Brandt was more like a stalker obsessed with Elissa, and Elissa was too damaged from dysfunctional parental relationships to notice or care. If you’re looking for erotica, this is your book. Though it was a quick and easy read, it just wasn’t for me.… (more)
