The full range of beginner to expert Sudoku, plus some samples of other popular puzzles. Slitherlink is a favorite I remember from Games magazine. Numberbricks was new to me - the concept is pretty straightforward, but it requires logic and thinking ahead to be successful.

Great puzzle book that has something for everyone.

As a puzzle freak, I was really excited about tackling the puzzles in this book. I was really excited when I saw all of the puzzle varieties included in the book. In addition to favorites like Sudoku X and Futoshiki, I could try new-to-me varieties like Hashi, Binary Puzzles, and loads of others. Unfortunately, the descriptions of these games were so brief and that I had difficulty getting started on the difficult puzzles presented. I did enjoy the puzzles with which I had prior experience - they were challenging but solvable in a reasonable amount of time.

If you're familiar with these varieties, then you'll probably enjoy having such a wide variety available. But if you're only an expert in one or two, then this book won't be as much fun for you. I do appreciate the introduction to new varieties but this is definitely not the book for your first pass, even if you consider yourself an excellent puzzler.

I'm a huge fan of Sudoku and these binary puzzles seem to be similar but i still haven't figured them out yet. I wish the instructions were more detailed, and geared towards the beginner as this book is marked as "easy". I did enjoy the access to the solution sets but am unsure i wan to deal with the frustration of learning the game.
