About the Author
Margo Tamez is a poet, herstorian, activist, and documenter of human rights violations across the Lipan tribal homelands in southern Texas and lower Rio Grande River. Her writing has appeared in the American Poetry Review, Cimarron Review, Hawaii Pacific Review, and Missouri Review. Her previous show more collections include Naked Wanting (2003) and Raven Eye (2007), which won the WILLA Award in poetry. An associate professor of Indigenous Studies at the University of British Columbia, she lives in the unceded territory of the Sqilxw Peoples, Okanagan Nation, BC, Canada. show less
