Timna Tarr

A beautiful book full of beautiful projects (that I am unlikely ever to attempt). However, if anyone was interested in making stitched photo mosaic quilts, I would suggest this book! Excellent photography, step-by-step photos and directions, great clarity and a touch of humor, as well as acknowledging the certainty of making mistakes, and learning from them.

I really enjoyed the introduction and "gallery" of Tarr's projects at the beginning of the book, and I thought the color wheel exercises were useful for any kind of quilting, not just mosaic. Projects are organized from easiest to hardest.… (more)
