The Shovel

Is it a comic, a joke book or something unique. A paperback book of satire. Probably the latter. Sometimes I found myself chuckling involuntarily...which is a good sign for a comedy/satire book. It's pretty clearly anti establishment ......especially in the form of the current Liberal National party. Then they are pretty easy to satirise. I mean you've gotta love a heading reading: "The Duke of Edinburgh asked whether he wishes to make any final racist remarks". And the other heading: "Entrepreneurial Sydney couple double house value by doing fuck all to it and just waiting 4 years".
Most of the material will date very fast....maybe has already dated but some of it seems to be of lasting value. I'll keep it for a few years anyway.
