Her Fiery Viking

I've received this book in place of an honest review. This is a short read, it's a prelude to the series itself. It's based around a extremely old Viking named Mikkel and a very angry modern day woman named Joanna. They meet at work, and she is a complete bombshell of rage and hate. He is a man cursed for a lifetime.

This book was very quick and there was no time for build up. It was literally a wham bam thank you ma'am book. They saw each other, the fire lit in the nether regions. One night of drinking and they were all over each other.

The premises of the story and series has some good intentions. But I really enjoy the build up of hints especially romances. This just didn't sit well with me. Though, I am curious about Lola. She seems to be a pivotal character in this series. So though this story was extremely short, there was no build up, and a minor action scene. I would like to give this series more of a chance and see what comes of it before I decide whether or not it's a series I can get into.… (more)

How many times have we heard stories where a man or woman, or even someone reading this review, have to make a decision has to who they’re going to marry. Would it be someone they truly love and there’s a definite passion which exists between the two; or would it be some patriarch/matriarch who for the sake of family will decide which individual their child will marry. Such is the situation we have in the storyline for this novelette/short story.

On one side we’ve got a handsome bear shifter billionaire Orson who has everything a woman could want -- money, looks. On the other we’ve got a curvaceous, shy woman by the name of Casey who is happens to be self-conscious about the way she looks, she’s also happens to be an excellent cook who is trying to start a catering business which is the venue through which these two happened to meet.

While Orson is definitely attracted to the human Casey, his father, the bear shifter clan’s Alpha is steadfast about his marrying another shifter, Cleo. Luckily, neither one desires to have an arranged marriage forced upon them.

I love reading stories like these, especially when the author has used their writing skills to develop the characters as well as the storyline into such a compact space. Will love or dedication to family win in the end, I’m not going to reveal, so you’ll have to the 5 STARS I’ve given this story yourself to find out.

1. A.J. Tipton, Alphas Heir, Bear Shifter Billionaire Novella
• I must say, this book was sizzling!! The book itself wasn’t very long, hence the novella, but it sure did pack a punch. Somehow it was full to the brim with shifter romance and steamy bedroom scenes that put 50 Shades to shame. There was of course with any shifter story some explosive alpha fighting and made the book even sexier. Great read for anyone 18+. Being that I, well, am not the size of a twig, I loved that Casey had meat on her bones and curves in all the right places. It really helped me appreciate the characters even more on a personal level. Keep up the good work A.J. This copy gifted to me by the Author for an honest review.
