read at 23.02. so that took me, like what, half and hour? Don't care. I loved it. I'm totally not the targeted audience but if I was in high school I would the reread this multiple times. I only had Manga then for high school characters and I could never really relate with those characters because the cultural background was too different from my own. but this is perfect. also DIVERSITY THAT DOESN'T FEEL FORCED INTO THE STORY. argh I really needed this as a teenager. although I'm glad I get to read it now.

one thing. it feels too short. and yes I do know that's absurd to complain about when you like something. just be grateful and go read fanfiction. but I would've like to see more the emotional impact of all those pretty traumatic stuff. on the other hand... it is because of the fluffy side of things that I kept smiling while reading this.

***weird observation?***
the book is not very big so you can hold it in one hand. but after a short while it will cut into your hand. which is weird...

Oh my gosh, I absolutely adored this!! The leads are so utterly sweet and dorky and sincere, the plot is fast paced and the artwork is fantastic! ♡♡♡

In St. Petersberg High School, Florida Dicey Bell is looking for Jack Chen. He doesn’t know it but he is her Babby Daddy! For that egg project some schools do to promote proper care and attention to eggs…
They don’t usually talk. She’s the jock. Into sports, on the baseball team. He’s the nerd, always with his nose in a book. But you know what they say about opposites attracting. But on their very first date something unusual happens, zombies attack!

This is a quick fun read. The first in a series called My boyfriend is a monster and I really enjoyed it. I flew through it in one sitting, and while it may not leave a huge mark on my soul it was exactly what it set out to be. A fun zombie story.

I liked both Dicey and Jack. They are exactly what they say they are, and both are likeable. And no stupid love triangle, which is always a plus :)

And as this is a comic/graphic novel, I guess I should mention the artwork. Well, it is black and white, but, like the book in general, it does what it sets out to do. So while I amn’t rushing out to buy prints I can say that it was perfect for the story.

All in all a good fun read.

Thoroughly enjoyable, and very cute, but far too short.
