Lisa Immordino Vreeland

A wonderful adjunct to Cecil's diaries and biographies. A beautiful coffee table book filled with his photographs and blurbs of famous people. Samples from his famous scapbooks and photo albums. Only caveat for me was...I am old and the small print on photo albums and scrapbooks had me reaching for a magnifying glass. While I was reading the diaries I found myself Googling a lot for examples of the art and photography and stage production stuff mentioned in the book. This book filled a gap and is a nice reference book on his life.… (more)
