Quad makes for a very educational piece to have in the classroom. It shows the light of bullying and the affect that brings on children of different backgrounds and cliques. It was a sad read, but a very real and moving piece. `

I think this book would be good to demonstrate the type of damage bullying can do. Also I think this book can really show kids that everyone is fighting a hard battle, so they don't feel so alone.

Quad can be used in the classroom to demonstrate the effect bullying possess on individuals. This book can be used to begin a discussion and to promote anti-bullying. By allowing students to build connections with the characters in Quad it allows students to begin to become more sensitive to how their actions may affect their fellow students.

It is a place to start analyzing what drives a young person, or any other person to the edge.… (more)
