Five stars. Best graphic memoir I have read since Persepolis. I related so intensely to her experiences in this book - the NYC commute, alcoholism, and old boyfriends.... and wow I really loved what she had to say about consent.

Note: I accessed a digital review copy of this book through Edelweiss. I also received a physical ARC at ALA Annual 2019.

Definitely a quick read if you want to mull on the injustices and double standards of our world as women. But there was so much unformed and mis-directed anger on display here that I couldn't really relate.

I gave up on this book after a few pages. Interesting subject matter and the visual style is very appealing, but the text seemed as if the author explains too much stuff which the reader would understand with fewer words.
