This is a solid reference-type book for school counselors present or future. The book is composed of different chapters/articles written by several different school counselors or counselor educators from all over the country. In this respect, it is able to provide the broad strokes of a counseling program, but also hit on the specifics that counselors need to be successful.

At the end of most chapters were sample forms or methods of documentation, which I felt were helpul.

This is a very interesting and informative book about the Amish way of life. Wittmer focuses on the factual and positive aspects of the Amish. He does not debate any of the negatives. The only fault I found with the book is that it gets to be repetitive. There are several typos also. A good editor could have fixed that problem. The book appears to be self-published.
