Describes the experiences of Korean War Brides. The first Korean War Bride arrived in the U.S. in 1950. Since that time nearly 100,000 Korean women have come to the U.S. as brides of American soldiers. The author interviews women who came to the U.S. to determine why they wanted to emigrate and what they experienced in the U.S. Although interesting, this book does not pertain to military women; rather to wives of soldiers.
