As the title implies it's a book about werewolves and other shape shifters. That being said there are in fact only two werewolf stories in the whole book. There's a story about a fox spirit shape shifter from Japan. Wendigo sort of a abominable snowman type creature. A Native American story in which wolves save a warrior and turn him into a man-wolf. Another in which a dolphin takes the form of a man and tries to lure a woman into his city underwater. Most of the stories seemed to have been based on old myths and legends… (more)
