People/Characters Addison Rice

(Fictitious character) Addison Rice made a large fortune off of his inventions. His wife spends a great deal of time in Arizona for her health; he ostensibly moved from the East Coast to California to be near her. He is movie-struck and gives large parties with whimsical themes to a wide variety of people. He seems on the whole to be good-natured and generous. His social secretary, Mrs. Somers, leaves to give birth, and he offers the position to Lillian Frost.
