Gavin Greig: Scottish folk song collector. Only a small portion of his work was published in his lifetime, but the full Greig/Duncan collection has been published in eight volumes toward the end of the twentieth century. It is the most important collection of Scottish folk song in existence, and is very likely the largest single collection of English-language folk song ever gathered.
