| Description | Joseph Roth (1894-1939) was an Austrian-Jewish journalist and novelist, best rememberd today for his family saga The Radetzky March (1932). After the rise of the Nazi regime, he went into exile in Amsterdam and Paris. He died in alcoholism and poverty. |
