People/Characters Lady Tabor

(Fictitious character) Lady Tabor is the mother of Sir Aubrey Tabor, Baronet and his four older sisters. She "enjoys ill health," allowing her to manipulate her children without suffering any of the inconveniences of sickness. Her son considers his weekly dinners with her to be an ordeal, especially since he is a determined bachelor and she is trying to match him up. She does not approve of the marriage of her son's friend, mill owner Ethan Brundy to Lady Helen Radney, and Ethan's subsequent entry into (some of) Society.
